Penny Black - Flying....

I just love this little kitty flying off on his kite!  How cute is he.....

I kept if fairly simple, some cloud background paper, a circle cut with a die (I think Di said it's a Quickkutz one).  I printed out the kitty once on the circle and then stamped an extra tail and a kite onto some coloured paper I had just lying around!!!

Had a bit of a problem stamping this kitty as it's bigger than the one acrylic block I own, so I had to improvise and I've used the lid off a well known chocolate box that I was given for Christmas a couple of years ago.  I was storing some craft bits in it, but now it has a new lease of life as a stamping block!  Bit painful on the fingers, but it works, after a fashion as they say!

I made the white cloud by embossing swiss dots using the CB, hand cut the cloud and added a blue line around it to match the background paper, not sure if I like it or not yet, it's growing on me!  I then used small foam pads to give it some dimension. Something different......well kind of, it's still a kitty....ooops.

Enjoy!

Not a kitty in sight....!

This was a kind of error on ebay.  I did actually bid on some dog stamps, but hit the wrong one.  I asked the seller to delete the bid, but she declined.  So I had to buy them.

I was extremely disappointed with the stamps, they were sold as new, but if they were I'll eat my hat!!!  They were yellow, all stuck to the backing paper, and when I tried to stamp with them they got stuck to the stamp pad!!!!!

Anyway I'm stuck with them (no pun intended!) and when I can finally get them off the stamp pad, I had to colour in the outlines on some of them with a fineliner pen.  Not impressed but the card came out OK in the end I think.

I made my own backing by using the Elzybells kitty set I got from Di - pawprints are so good for so many cards! LOL!

Enjoy!

Got My Eye On You...!

A really cute image here which just called out for Promarkers!  I added some background paper with cute little circles on which is the last I've got of that as I can't remember where it came from!

Added a little circle which was from a die cut that Di (no pun intended!) sent me.  I coloured it with my Promarkers and added some cute candy on it to keep the circle idea going!  I might glitter the balloon, but I'm getting low on my glitter and I only have three, so might wait a bit.

Enjoy!

Look what Gill did with my digi images!

Here's Jimmy - looking all cheeky and colourful with his red shirt and denim shorts.
Chloe and cupcakes, cupcakes are always a good idea!  Gill has added extras to the digi images which is a good way of using them.  These have cupcakes, others have dogs, or flowers. all excellent use of making your images go further by slightly changing them.
Monster looks good in green with swirls and an idea of using string to add some texture.
A special card to me, which of course, has a cat on it!  I coloured some images for Gill a while ago and she's used them all very well in the cards she's made for the cancer charities/hospices that I donate too.  It's nice to see other people's cards and know they're all doing so much good for the charities.

Thank you Gill for sending me the cards and making the next batch to go to the cancer charities/hospices even better!

LOTV Pom Pom Girl - more pink!

Yep, more pink girlies here.  This time a cute LOTV one which Di stamped up for me to use.  Again more of the gorgeous paper from Rachel.  It's going a long way but will be gone soon at this rate.

I used a glittered pink Nestie (again from Di!) and some more of the cute heart ribbon along the middle.  I used my CB to emboss the dots on the core-dinations card and sanded it with an old nail file.  I've not used that before but got a good deal at a Craft Sale and have a little bag of different colours which you'll be seeing soon!!

Enjoy!

Gorjuss Girlie and her kitty!

Well there had to be a cat somewhere.  No life is complete without the pitter patter of kitty feet as they say!

I decided to go all girlie and pink with this one.  I got a little roll of ribbon in a new craft shop within a garden centre opened near here (lucky me!!!) and it was only £1.  More of that gorgeous paper from Rachel used here again.

Only two sheets left now sadly.....

Enjoy!

Penny Black - isn't she cute!

I'm a big fan of Penny Black stamps and am now well into my stamping and colouring.  I never thought I would but it's kind of wormed it's way in already!  More of the gorgeous papers from Rachel, with another Penny Black image stamped and coloured by my own fair hands!

I'm having problems with my wrists more than normal so have been wearing my wrist splint even more often, which makes life more difficult in so many ways!

Penny Black and blog candy win!

I recently won some blog candy from the lovely Rachel and found this gorgeous paper within.  If anyone knows what one it is, please tell me!!!!  I've only got two sheets left now and would like to add it to my wish list (which is growing by the day!).

I've coloured this image (purchased with some gift vouchers from my friend Di) and have added some gems to add some dimension to it.  I'm not sure whether to add some stitching to the holes I punched with a pokey tool or not.  What do you think....??!?!?!?

Enjoy!

Thank You!

Just a note to say thanks to all of you who have taken the time to comment on my little digis I've been making for you all to use in your cardmaking.  It's very much appreciated and makes all the effort worthwhile.  Of course, I'd love to see anything you make with them, it brightens up the day to see new cards being made, specially if they have my digis on them!!!

Also I'd like to welcome all my new followers!  Hello everyone and welcome to my little piece of Blogland!

Enjoy - and keep crafting!!!
