A Wedding Snippet Card

Well I finally found the bronze coloured card I've been searching for and here is the end result of the cardmaking sessions (I had to do it in a few sessions rather than one long one - my leg it doth protest too much!).
I'm putting this one in to the Snippet Challenge  I've not done any for a while, but am hoping to catch up with this one!  I used lots of white card offcuts and even made the horse shoe myself with a little amendment to the diecut pieces!
After making the card front and the base, I thought I'd best confirm the name of the groom, I know the bride well but not the groom.  So after speaking to a mutual friend, I was stunned to hear that the wedding is off.  Arggghhh!!!!  Anyone need a bronze wedding card?!?!?!

Thought I'd enter this into a couple of challenges as follows:

4 Crafty Chicls - Wedding
DL Art - Wedding

Enjoy!

Good Job you didn't know the name and had to check otherwise you might have sent if off!!!!!!
Card is gorgeous. Love how you made the horse shoe. Hugs Mrs A.
Lolly pops are over by the swings. Get them whilst you can.

Lovely card Karen, so much beautiful detail and the horseshoe is such a clever idea.

Shame about the wedding being off (how very dare they when you'd made a special card!) - but at least you have it on standby now :)

Holy cow! I did not see that coming! The wedding is off, huh? Well, I guess it is better this occur before the wedding rather than after. I wouldn't have though bronze paper would be so hard to locate since many companies do a pack of "metallics," although of course then you get all the other metal colors too. It is a lovely card with lots of beautiful flourishes, flowers, and leaves.

Hi Karen

What a lovely card, I hope you find another home for it. Such a shame that the wedding if off, but better to find out now than after. All the detail that you have put in it, it is beautiful.

Oh, Karen, how disappointing! You will find another use for your very creative and well done wedding card. Or perhaps they'll kiss and make up and the wedding will be back on!!

Your card is beautiful. I love the lacey look and feel. Very dainty, whimsical and clever. It is much better they have found out now than later. Hang on to it they may change their mind.

Thank you for joining my DL.ART Thankful Thursday challenge.
