Another cheapy idea......

A while ago I had one Tim Holtz ink pad and tried to think of ways round getting expensive brushes.  I used some cotton pads (made for removing nail varnish) and they worked quite well.  Then I thought of this......yes.....a Pastry Brush - only 99p too!
I got a new ink pad care of Di, called Tumbled Glass and then dabbed the pastry brush on it and holding it low down, which stiffened the bristles, I brushed it on in circular motions to the cream cardstock I was using at the time.

It's come out quite well, not too dark, but perfect for the card I was making for the Snippet Challenge over at Di's Place.  You'll see the results soon!

I must add that Di has given me two lovely brushes to use since I made this purchase and if you don't have loads of money to throw at your crafting, then this is an ideal '2nd best' to help you achieve the same result.  Or similar...!

Enjoy!
