Beary Nice Stamp from Di...

Di sent me this stamp a while back, and I love it so much and have used it many times for charity cards but don't think I've ever blogged one so I thought it was time I did.

The last of the blog candy win paper here, I've now found out what it's called but can't find it anywhere!  Typical huh.

Used some more of the new ribbon here backed onto plain green cardstock and put behind the image which is at a jaunty angle!  I tried it straight but it didn't look right!

Some little flower gems and a ticket sentiment along with some doodling around the image and that's it.

Enjoy!

Penny Black - darling cutie!

I got this little cutie stamp in a set which Di very kindly gave me gift vouchers for making some sock monkeys for her.  I was like a kid in a sweet shop and spent them all at once.  Very naughty, but hey, that's what they're for so I did!!!

I've since had another idea for these, which will be coming soon.  I've used some lovely backing papers and another Nestie (from Di again!) along with some card candy and another of those gorgeous ticket sentiments.

More stickles were added - where would we be without our stickles huh!

Enjoy!

Girlie Birthday

Sorry another photo just near the edge!  Hopefully the pooter will stop deleting them when I rotate them soon so I can go back to my original way of doing things.

Again this one uses my old peel offs - I got these ones in a few different colours so you'll be seeing more of them.  I lost enthusiasm for them, but now with the effect being done with die cuts they look ideal on so many of my charity cards!  Definitely "now" and "on trend" as they say!!! LOL!!
Another LOTV stamped image - I really should keep a note of who sends them to me, sorry peeps - let me know if it's you!  I'll give you credit for them!

More stickles and a glittering background Nestie (from Di!), I also added Stickles to the sentiment ticket and also the ribbon flower.  Aren't they pretty.  I found them in my stash, a freebie on a magazine many moons ago, and decided to make them all up, so you'll see more of them soon - all different types so hopefully you won't get bored with them....!

Enjoy!

One for the boys!

I just love this image - in fact I love all of the images from this guy!  Just perfect for so many occasions.  I decided to make this a boys/mens card - although just by changing the colouring it can be for girls/ladies too.

I did some faux stitching holes - I've now found the perfect pen for adding stitching, so you'll be seeing some of that later on.  The white dots are actually glitterations stickers - they look white on the photo, but they are actually glittered.  Adds some subtle glitter for men!

Some small peel off corners, onto which I added some candy and a "Way Cool" ticket sentiment.  These tickets are ideal for so many occasions and well worth the cutting out!!

If you look closely at the dragon, you can see I've added some clever shading on his skin, looks good in so many colours as I've done a few now.  Better than a plain shade I think, don't you???

Enjoy!

Be Yourself!

This card all came together easily.  The stamp is a freebie from a magazine many moons ago now - just love the image though.  I added some purple flower backing paper (same bargain bundle!) along with a Prima flower with some candy.

A ticket sentiment I had in my stash just suit this down to the ground and I also added some very old lacy effect peel offs I had in my stash - they're very 'now' so even crafting stash comes back into fashion if you wait!

Enjoy!

Perfect Little Bear

I found this little bear in my digi collection and thought she'd be ideal for this lovely backing paper (bargain bundle again!).

I added more of the plain white gems (coloured with Promarkers again!) to match the colour of her little dress.

Pretty little ribbon again (I'm into my ribbons again now I can get to them!) and will have to get a couple more when I see some in the sale.  I'd love to have a big box like my friend Di, but sadly the cat needs to be fed first and I can't put her on a diet - she's 18 now and only weighs 2.8 kilos as it is!  Bless, she's a real sweetie.

Stickles have been added to her dress and the balloon, you just gotta have glitter!

Enjoy!

House Meeces Card

Don't you just love the House Meeces!!!  John got me this stamp set for Christmas last year, and although I've stamped up a few of them, this is only the third time I've made a card with them!  Must make more me thinks.

I found this lovely cupcake paper in the bargain bag I got from the Craft Sale, perfect for the House Meece cupcake stamp I thought.  I added some CB embossed mirror card and some different ribbon (you'll be pleased to hear!!!).  I think I should've made them a bit higher/lower than they are now I've seen it, but it's too late as it's glued on now.

Added some little flowers (thanks Gill!) and a little sentiment ticket.  "Sweet" was just ideal for this card!

You haven't got the best effect of the card in the photo as it's a square card, and I've had problems with the pooter not rotating cards so had to take this 'as was' for you.

Enjoy!

Penny Black - another cutie!

Sorry the photo is a bit off centre, but I've had problems trying to get my pooter to rotate photos without deleting them!  Don't know why...one of those things.  I've had to re-save them under a different description and just leave them as they are!

This is a Penny Black stamped image sent from Di.  I just love this image, so cute.  I also used the sentiment Di sent me as well.  I just added lots of bling and some pretty pink things to it - a real girly card.  What is it with me and girly cards lately?!??!

I added some plain white gems (coloured them with my Promarkers!) to match the colours of the CS and also added some mini gems (my internet disaster buy - which is actually working out OK now!) to her tiara.

The tiny flowers were from Mum, she got them in a craft shop I went to and liked them so I've added them to this card.  She got 3 for 2 so a bargain there!

Have been re-visiting my peel offs and just added the bubbly one to some plain red CS and this card is totally OTT I think!  What do you think?

Ballerina Girl - a little Princess!

I just love this image - if you know what one it is, please tell me.  It came from a lovely lady called Shirley and I really need to add her to my Wish List.  She's so adorable don't you think.

Kept this one very pink (you'll like this one Di!), and added some gemstones (which I coloured with my promarkers) and added a sentiment ticket and some stickles glitter all over the place.  Well a card like this NEEDS glitter doesn't it...!! LOL!

Enjoy!

Olivia and Archie - another cute image!

Here's another cute kittie from the Olivia and Archie Collection.  I added some background paper, some mirror card and the last of the ribbon - you'll be pleased to hear!!!

I added some gold glitterations spots from Anita to compliment the gold mirror card.  I also cut the image with my woodware trimmer.  It's so easy to chage the cutter, even for me with  my dodgy hands, although sometimes it pops open and the cat likes to chase it across the bed!!

Enjoy!

Hey Dude!

Nice and clean - perfect for a guys card.  I used a freebie digi image from Sans Design - so cute isn't he.  I added some matted and layered background papers, some red card, card candy and another ticket sentiment.  I have a few of these so you'll be seeing more in the not too distant future! LOL!

Enjoy!

My Craft Space!

Well I did tell you my crafting space was small didn't I....!?!?!?!

Here is some of the stuff I've been working on lately on my little tray on my bed.  Sorry the duvet is ruffled, I had a late night out at a Rod Stewart Tribute Show and I just took the photo when I started crafting for you all.

Anyway just thought I'd share it with you all....!  You can make things in the smallest of spaces...believe me I've done it!!!

Olivia and Archie - cute!!

I splashed out and got these from the Digi Stamp Boutique a few weeks ago when they were on special offer as a collection.  It might surprise you to know I like cats, and these are just so cute!

Some more papers from Gill used here, along with my bargain 99p ribbon and some Nesties.  I've also added a 'sentiment ticket' which I downloaded - sorry I can't remember where from now.  I used my Woodware trimmer (Christmas pressie from Di - which I use a lot now!) to add some decorative edges to the red cardstock.

Emjoy!

Meet George!

Another of my digi images here.  Do you like him?  Would you like him as a freebie image to use in your cardmaking?  Let me know!

I coloured him with my Promarkers, as usual, then cut it out with the die cuts (from Di - thanks!) and matted and layered him with some backing papers and some more die cuts I'd done.  Added some peel offs and voila - done!
Oh yes, the ribbon is almost gone you'll be pleased to hear!  Watch out for a new one soon!  LOL!

Well Done on your Achievement Award!

I decided to make this Congrats card after hearing a good friend of mine who is 91 - has just completed her Achievement Award in her computer class.  How amazing is that..!?!?!!?  I think it's brilliant and she could teach a few others that computers aren't scary!

A digi image from Bugaboo (I think!), coloured with Promarkers (what else!) and then matted and layered onto a Nestie, some super star background paper (thanks to Gill..!!) and I used a funky foam star I already had in my stash along with my bargain sentiments (50p!).

Enjoy!

LOTV - Little Boys!

Di sent me this cute little square amongst many others which I'm now starting to get through quite quickly!!!!  I love this as it'll be great for a boy/man and I kept it fairly simple.  I don't think you can add glitter and flowers too much for the boys!

I used more of the circle ribbon (nearly gone now you'll be pleased to hear!), along with a gorgeous gold charm (from my bargain £2 set), this time it's a little computer.  I added some gold brads to the corners of the crimped quickkutz die, and will probably change the silver sentiment as it doesn't really go now I've got the photo done.

Again another little thing I'm not happy with!  I think it comes from making cards on the bed which isn't easy and makes me ache all over, so I want to get it finished quicker than I should.  I've now got a nice tray, which I can put them on when almost done and not glue the embellies down until I'm happy with them, might try that for a while and see if it improves!

Enjoy!
