WOYWW 215 and it's a hot one....phew....

Phew...this is way tooooooooo hot for me, I don't know about you, but I need to find a walk in freezer, and quick!!! I'm still on the idea that by making Christmas cards, it'll make me feel cooler, but it doesn't seem to be working just yet...!! LOL!!

So here is another WOYWW and wowser, is it a hot one!  It's even, dare I say it, too hot to craft isn't it.  I did have a go at the weekend, but ended up eating a nice fat free yoghurt frozen ice cream type treat and watched some mindless TV and thought about what I should be doing! My body just shuts down on me in the hot weather.

Even my little helper isn't so keen as you can see her disappearing off my bed to find a cooler spot to hide.  As she needed some new meds we took her to vet this morning for her check up too.  However, it wasn't such good news sadly.  She's almost 21 and they haven't advised doing any biopsies or anything at her age.  She's still fine and dandy, eating M&S chicken slices no less! Well the vet did say if she didn't want to eat cat food, then let her eat whatever she likes even if it's not the healthiest of foods, like cheese or Tempura prawns (don't ask! I know, she's really really spoilt!).

She's also really really loved as you can tell and I know I spoil her a lot, but she's worth it.  My brother said we'll do our shopping in any old supermarket, but her food comes from M&S!!!  As you can tell, she's loved a lot. Bless, such a sweetie.

So I hope you all manage to keep cool, I'm thinking of what I'm going to do craftwise at the moment, so when (fingers crossed!!!!) it cools down I'll be all ready!

Keep smiling and keep cool!

Yes, it's certainly sizzling! What a brilliant age your little helper has reached - she deserves M and S goodies - cat food, you must be joking! Our much loved Daisy is 13 yrs old and full of life. She likes to help me sort out my ribbons and she usually has a good sniff of what I'm making to check it out. Hope it cools down a little bit soon so you can get back properly into crafting again! Yes, it certainly is hot here at the moment - I am very thankful we live by the sea - always a bit cooler. Mind you, having said that, we got in the car earlier and the temperature read 33! Can't believe that was quite right - but there you go.
Your cat has reached a huge age - trust she enjoys the M&S food!!
Have a good, if warm, week.

I hope you can find that cooler place for you and your little helper because if you don't do heat it is not very nice.
Your little helper lives well and as your baby that is how it should be but I will be popping round for dinner
Have a great day and enjoy the rest of your week with this lovely weather

Wow 21 is a great age for a cat, and I hope she is around for sometime yet. Heat definitely effects your crafting mojo. We are in winter here so I have a few months before being effected by soaring temps which can average 35 degrees Celcius plus here in Summer. Happy WOYWW! Danie #34

Oh yes, it's quite hot here too. I've got my 6 year old plus a friend of his in the (inflatable) swimming pool to cool them off. Love your Christmas creation. Ahh, the thought of cool white snow... Hugs and happy crafting, Wendy #121

Only a guess hey I am an Aussie LOL Anyways keep the baby happy and enjoy her lots as I am sure you do. My boys get all sorts of yummie food because I love them, especially the rescue boy Yoda.. Stay cool if you can and thanks for sharing.

Karen, I think your Christmas card is really nice, love just red and white together. Not quite got to making many Christmas cards yet this year, had rather a busy one so far.
Hope your little helper thrives on M & S chicken for a long while yet. My big helper is about 11 and as fit as can be a certainly doesn't need tempting to eat anything.
Hope you're feelign cooler soon.

I just keep thinking we're on the down-hill to fall. But I know come winter I'm going to wish it were a bit warmer LOL

Spoil that lady for all she's worth. This from someone practically laying down in the office chair so the new rescue kitty can sleep on my chest. We think she was tossed from a car window 3 weeks ago Sunday. She still has some issues we're working through. Creative Blessings & Hugs! Kelly #105

Doesn't this heat sap the energy levels! Sounds like your beloved puss has the right idea though - keep cool and be fed really well! Hugs, Jenny x

Sometimes it's so bleeping hot that even Christmas cards won't cool you off! Bless your puss, give her anything her heart desires!! Happy Belated WOYWW and thank you, Karen, for leaving some love at the Playhouse! Enjoy the rest of your week! Darnell #20

Hot is the norm for summers in the midwest US. We live under the AC and couldn't do without it. It doesn't cool down at night, either.

Bleubeard is not eating well, either. I swear it's the heat. I've decided to give him tuna with his dry cat food, and maybe that will increase his appetite. I hope your little gal starts eating again once it cools a I’m not sure how late LATE is, but I’m here to wish you a beLATEd WOYWW from #2.
