Welcome to WOYWW 208!!! Yes it's the 4th Birthday of WOYWW! Happy Birthday to each and every one of us and special wishes to Julia for creating and hosting this lovely idea so that we can all snoop on other people's desks!!!
As you can see I've been doing some decoupage. With tennis elbow still having a big effect on what I can/can't do without loads of extra pain I decided to just do what I can without making it worse.
Thanks to everyone for sending me ideas about tennis elbow. As a person with multiple health issues there are quite a few medications/over the counter products I am unable to use sadly. I've now downloaded some exercises to help the problem so fingers crossed (ouch that's gonna hurt LOL!) this will ease it a bit.
I got this pack free in a magazine many moons ago now and decided it was time to give it an airing. It makes quite large cards, but they are good for "Special People"!
Have a brilliant WOYWW today everyone!

Sorry you're still suffering, but glad you've found something to help take your mind off it a bit. MMx #85
You must have lots of patience to do decoupage, Karen... I KNOW I couldn't do it...the stamping for the ATC nearly finished me off!!
Thanks for all your lovely supportive comments over the past couple of years..they really have meant an awful lot to me :-)
Happy 4th WOYWW!
Hugs, LLJ 9 xx

A pain I can relate to. Hope it goes away soon and you can craft away.

Trust the finger crossing didn't cause too much agony! I'm not usually into decoupage - but that picture is just lovely. Hope you managed it, and that the elbow recovers soon.
Have a good WOYWW anniversary. Sorry you can't have the bubbly and chocolate - but the alternative sounds great. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Karen, oh I do like a bit of decoupage and even with joint problems I can manage it quite well - very therapeutic I think! Hope the exercises help you so that you can get back to crafting properly. Thanks for your visit earlier. Happy 4th WOYWW, hugs, Anne x
Thanks for commiserating with me on the gallbladder pains and guess what? I can commiserate with you on the tennis elbow, too! It's been bothering me also for the last few weeks, since I couldn't do much else I was spending too much time on the computer, plus finishing up my school work which was all online, anyways the end result was tennis elbow! In both elbows! But I have been making myself stay off the computer for the last 3-4 days and finally today it is feeling much better. And am I ever glad, just in time for WOYWW! :) Hope you are enjoying this special anniversary WOYWW and the kits on your desk look like they will make for some wonderful projects, have fun and thanks for leaving me a comment already. :) Deeyll #29
How about I keep my fingers crossed for you, Karen, that way it will save you some pain? Did you try the brace idea? It's good that you are limiting your decoupage to what you can do comfortably. Life is too short, right?!
Thanks for coming by the Playhouse earlier! Happy WOYWW Anniversary and do take care!! Darnell #34
Sorry to hear about your elbow pain! As someone with multiple joint issues I can relate.
Try not to overdo!
Happy WOYWW!!

Hope your elbow soon starts to ease. When I had a frozen shoulder no medication helped at all. I searched on youtube for some exercises. They hurt like **** but they worked. The key was not to push them too hard and to do them regularly.

I’m sorry to be late in visiting but I’m still on my quest to get round everyone this week. I know it’s going to take some time, but I wanted to say that it’s amazing that the internet can bring together so many likeminded people and I’m grateful that WOYWW has also brought along so many new friends, thanks to Julia.
Sorry to hear that your elbow is still giving you trouble Karen but you’re right to take things easy and not aggravate it even more. Love the decoupage kits. I’ve done any of that myself for ages.
Enjoy your weekly snoop, especially as we’re celebrating WOYWW’s 4th Anniversary.
Happy Crafting!
