Rudolph Day is here again. This isn't my usual style, but it came to me when I was using up the remainder of some freebies from a magazine. I embossed the white card with my Christmas embossing folder and added some pretty Christmas ribbon (bargain 50p!).
I added some lovely red metallic tape from the baubles (the ones I had from last year which I wasn't sure what to do with - I've used them loads this year!)....and then added the red/white baubles and the heart.
As I said not my usual style but I like it! I was wondering if I should've put a mat underneath it - after I made it of course - what do you think? Plain or matted and layered?
Enjoy!

I think it's great as it is. If I'm honest I know I would have added a red mat under the embossed layer, but it doesn't actually need it. I tend to go for 'over kill' but often wish I hadn't! Kate x
I like it just as it is Karen. You'll notice I didn't use a mat on my festive card either.
Well done for going outside your comfort zone and trying something different.
Thanks for joining in again.

I probably would have added a red mat under the embossed layer but i am not a good one to give advice...I usually do too much and then can't decide whether to leave it or tear some off! teehee
I think it is lovely just the way it is and could go with or without the mat! The baubles are so pretty!
Lovely card. I think a mat would have been nice, but I think it is also very pretty just the way you did it. Your bright red on the ornaments draw the eye in, & I truly didn't notice there was not a mat, until I read your post! The embossing folder with the red ornaments was just perfect & beautiful...no need to change a thing (IMHO). TFS
