Wow another WOYWW already! My workdesk is empty at the moment - well I had a mass cardmaking night yesterday, but cleared it all so I could go to sleep (my workdesk is my bed with trays on it!) so all I have to show you is the finished card I started which you saw the beginnings of before.
It's the "nothing fussy" wedding card. I've now given it to my friend who requested it and she loves it which is fantastic!!!
You'll see the rest of my efforts in the next few posts.
Happy WOYWW everyone!

Super card Karen, Jules of Always with a Heart showed this idea a while ago and it's very clever.
Ha, the stamp set I used today had only been on my desk since my birthday so it's not that old, by my standards :)
Happy WOYWW. Di x
Hi Karen, your wedding card is gorgeous and such a clever idea.
The rosettes are fairly easy to make. Take a 12" piece of lightweight card approx. 1.1/2 inches deep and score (I use a Martha Steward score board) at 1/4" intervals. Fold this up like an accordian and glue the two ends together. Stand it up and push the whole thing down to make the rosette shape. Glue a plain circle underneath to hold it together (a glue gun is best). Hope this makes sense! BTW- the wider you make the piece of card, the larger your rosette will be but 1.1/2" makes a fairly big one.

That is THE best wedding card I have ever seen! It's simple, got hearts and flourishes and refers to the dress of both bride and groom. Gorgeous!!
Hugs, LLJ #30 xx
What a great card. I love the tuxedo heart. I'm sure everyone who sees it will be as inspired as I am. I have to say that if my workdesk was my bed, I'd end up sleeping on the couch all the time! I just cannot tidy.

A very classy little card. x Jo
