So what is on my little work-tray today? Some items I've stamped and cut out for more of my Christmas makes and new ideas I have to share with you all once they are finished.
Of course, it's now Halloween (why the media insist on it being on Saturday and Sunday (27th and 28th) when it's only supposed to be the 31st I'll never know. Oh dear, my lovely brother says I'm changing in to Victoria Meldrew, oops!

My favorite blog would be djkardkreations. Bwahaha. Just kidding!! You've asked a really hard question, Karen. I like to pop onto challenge blogs like Less is More, CASology, CAS(E) this Sketch, Freshly Made Sketches, Retrosketches, ColourQ, Dynamic Duos, to name a few out of dozens and then I scan the thumbnails of the linked cards and pop in to see the ones that really stand out to me. It is really amazing how certain cards and styles will "call out" to me and that's how I find crafty blogs I like.

Re the outer shading - I use Khaki around the very outside of the image, then blend that out with Pastel Beige, and then I either blend that out with the blender pen or with a flexmarker in Antique White. Hope that helps a bit :o) Hugs, Lisa x
